Anglo-Zulu War Sites

  • Isandlwana Battlefield: Site of the first major encounter between the British and Zulu forces on January 22, 1879.

  • Rorke's Drift: Location of the famous defense by British troops immediately following the Battle of Isandlwana.

  • Ulundi: Final battle on July 4, 1879

Anglo-Boer War Sites

  • Spioenkop Battlefield: Scene of a major battle between British and Boer forces on January 23-24, 1900.

  • Majuba Hill: Site of the decisive battle of the First Anglo-Boer War on February 27, 1881.

  • Ladysmith: Famous for the 118-day siege by Boer forces during the Second Anglo-Boer War.

  • Paardeberg: Site of a significant British victory over the Boer forces in February 1900.

  • Bloemfontein: Capital city that played a crucial role during the war, including the establishment of concentration camps.
